The girl, the dreamer, the artist
My journey begins very early on as a little girl with a head full of stories and dreams, never knowing how to translate my ideas into the world, never knowing how to make myself heard in a world where I never felt "normal".
Watching a classmate draw little comic figures one day, I immediately knew that *this* would become my whole entire personality! I was given books about how to draw and paint, took superior art classes later in school and constantly tried to find my style and thus my voice through art.
After several years of experimenting and with the pandemic giving me enough time to really dive into my art, I can finally say I found my way. Being constantly inspired by nature, fairy tales, fantasy and folklore, each and every single of my paintings transmits a feeling and a thought that I formed in my heart. Every piece of art is a part of me, and I allow the world to see how I see the world through my eyes.

Meine Reise beginnt bereits als kleines Mädchen, das den Kopf voller Geschichten und Träume hat, aber nie wusste, wie es diese Ideen äußern konnte. Es wusste nie, wie es sich in einer Welt mitteilen konnte, in der es nicht "normal" war.
Als ich eines Tages eine Klassenkameradin dabei beobachtete, wie sie kleine Comicfiguren kritzelte, wusste ich sofort, dass *das* nun Überhand über meine gesamte Persönlichkeit nehmen würde! Mir wurden Bücher darüber geschenkt, wie man malen und zeichnen lernt, und im Abitur durfte ich dann den Kunst-LK wählen. Über die nächsten Jahre habe ich dann viel mit meinem Stil experimentiert und so versucht, meine Stimme durch meine Kunst zu finden.
Nach Jahren des Übens (die Pandemie hat mir hier die Zeit gegeben, viele Stunden zu investieren), habe ich endlich meinen Weg gefunden. Ich werde stetig von der Natur, von Märchen, Fantasy und Folklore inspiriert, und in jedem meiner Kunstwerke stecken bestimmte Gefühle und Gedanken, die sich in meinem Herzen geformt haben. Jedes Kunstwerk ist ein Teil von mir, und so möchte ich der Welt die Möglichkeit geben, sie so zu sehen, wie ich sie sehe.

The name is Sid, and I'm a Germany based artist with migrational backgrund.
I was born and raised in Cologne and moved to the middle of Germany in my early twenties, with another location chance awaiting me now in my late twenties.
Having studied Insurance Management after graduating school, I initially did not take the course to becoming an artist. But the desire to create and to make art never left me, so that now I'm pursuing my dream to become a full time artist.
